I've had eczema off and on for a few years now. It can appear anywhere--I especially don't like it when it appears on my face and neck. This happened about a month ago. I must say, through all the years that I've suffered from mosquito bites and tried everything imaginable product, to find something natural that REALLY works is a joy I can't explain. I had a tick embedded in my back for over 24 hours. It was in a place that I could not see. After it was removed it itched, and I scratched. After three days the site of the bite was very inflamed, had a definite red ring around it and was hot. The doctor I worked for suggested I put some Chickweed Salve on it. So I began applying the salve three to five times a day. Immediately it stopped itching. In 48 hours the swelling was gone, the heat was gone, the red ring was gone! What great stuff.

This summer I was the unfortunate victim of a brown recluse spider bite. A friend of mine at the Farmer's Market in Little Rock gave me a jar of your chickweed salve to use on it. It was very red, very swollen and quite infected. The wound was the most awful looking thing that I have ever seen. I felt sure that I would have a hole left in my leg as big as a half dollar. I have been told that this type of necrotic wound usually takes up to 6 months to heal and may even require plastic surgery. I used the salve every day for about 50 days. It was so remarkable that I cannot thank you enough. Over the 4th of July weekend. while attending a family gathering in Missouri, I had the unfortunate experience of bringing home a mess of chiggers. I had taken my Healin' Hollers natural insect repellant with me in case ticks and mosquitoes were a problem but since I was not bothered with those I neglected to apply the repellant. Twenty four hours later i sure was sorry! I was covered with chigger bites. Past experience with chiggers have left me scarred! Luckily I had brought a fresh new jar of Chickweed Salve which I trusted to help stop the intensive itching and swelling of said chiggers. One evening I began itching for no apparent reason. Before long I was beside myself, unable to stop scratching .
